Jackson announces he will be the Madden cover player
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is coming off an MVP season. During a video press conference with the Ravens Jackson announced that he will be on the cover of Madden 21.
The Madden cover players have often been somewhat controversial because of the “Madden curse”. The “Madden Curse” has been a string of cover players that have been injured the following year after being on the cover.
The Last Baltimore Raven to be on the cover of Madden football was Ray Lewis, when he was on the cover of Madden 2005.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was the latest cover athlete and while he suffered a knee injury last season still won the Super Bowl and was the Super Bowl MVP.
