Happy Fourth of July and some Orioles notes
Happy Fourth of July everyone, hope you all have a fun and safe holiday. The weather looks like it will get really bad so I hope all of you stay safe. The weather has postponed the Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox game today. The Orioles will play a doubleheader tomorrow with the Red Sox. Manny Machado will be reinstated during the second game of the doubleheader.
The Orioles will pitch Miguel Gonzalez and Ubaldo Jimenez tomorrow. Gonzalez needs to have a good game or else he could lose his starting spot, as I said here it is almost overdue. Jimenez threw an absolute gem against the Texas Rangers and the Orioles hope that he can continue his success and finally get on track.
Kevin Gausman will start Sunday for the Orioles, again he has been bouncing around. The Orioles will need to make a roster move before that game.
Steve Pearce has still been hot, he had a four-for-four night with two double last night. Pearce has been carrying the Orioles offense which is starting to get on a fire.
