Capitals sign Conner

The Washington Capitals signed another player from the Pittsburgh Penguins by signing Chris Conner to a one-year, two-way contract.  Conner is a winger and another depth move.

Conner will likely spend a lot of time with the Hershey Bears while playing for the Capitals during emergency situations.  Conner scored four goals for the Penguins last season.  Conner does have NHL experience but has a low ceiling being an undrafted player.

Here is the Capitals press release.
