Washington Capitals extend qualifying offers to five players
The Washington Capitals have extended qualifying offers to Tom Wilson, Madison Bowey, Travis Boyd, Liam O’Brien, and Riley Barber. Devante Smith-Pelly along with minor league players Adam Carlson, Adam Chapie, and Tim McGauley were not offered sheets to stay with the Capitals organization.
Tom Wilson this season has a breakout season on a line with Evgeny Kuznetsov and Alex Ovechkin. Wilson had 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points along with 187 penalty minutes this past season. In Wilson’s career he has 35 goals, 69 assists and for 104 points and 806 penalty minutes.
