Towson Men’s Basketball Player Facing Rape Charges

Ryan Conway of the Towson men’s basketball team is facing several rape and assault charges after an incident in June 2022. The details of the case are ongoing, but initial reports indicate Conway and the defendant initially began to have consensual sex until the woman changed her mind. This is a delicate situation and I’m more of an opinion-based type of writer so I don’t really know what else to write here. I think all I can really say is: innocent until proven guilty, but believe the victims until you’re given a reason not to.
