Towson Drops Second Straight Home Game Going into Bye Week
Tigers Drop 2nd Second Straight Home Contest in Loss to Monmouth

It’s been a difficult few weeks for the Towson Tigers football team. Back-to-back home loses to drop their record to 3-4. 7 games in and it seems like the same story with Towson. Inconsistent play, defense struggling, struggles with fundamentals etc. this one seemed to show what the Tigers offense CAN be capable of.
A back and forth affair that saw the game being tied 2 times, but the Tigers never lead in this one. The Tiger struggled to come up with the big plays in the end and turned the ball over too many times to corn back from.
Andrew Indorf was 21/28 for 292 yards and 2 TD’s. He was sacked 2 times, which continues to be an area of concern for the Tigers. It seems like almost every games Indorf is being sacked at least 2 times, which is something they will need to clean up. Winston Watkins also added a touchdown pass on 1 attempt for 1 yard. Derek Robertson was also very effective on the day with 27 completions for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns. The big difference: was not sacked.
The Monmouth run game saw a big day from Rodney Nelson who went for 152 yards and a touchdown on 27 attempts. Towson could only muster up 142 yards and 1 touchdown. Winston Watkins found the endzone to go along with his passing touchdown. Josh Deey led the team with 7 catches for 73 yards. Maxwell James and Jack Neri. For Towson, Jaceon Doss was excellent with 7 grabs for 139 yards. Jon Dunmore, Londono and Schaeffer all found the endzone in the passing game for the Tigers.
Spencer Kishbaugh had 8 total tackles for Monmouth. Josiah Graham had 2 sacks, 2 TFL’s and forced 2 fumbles on the day. Monmouth recovered 3 fumbles on 4 that were forced. For Towson, Ja’Mez Drummer and Xavier Terry had 12 and 11 total tackles respectively. Myles Brodie recovered a fumble and Aaron Clark had a TFL. This Tigers were able to do some things defensively to try and get the ball back but alas it wasn’t enough.
The Tigers can now enjoy their by week this week. They’ll need tv time off to get back yo the drawing board and see how they can right the ship. They will have this week off and then will play Stony Brook on the road.
GOH TIGERS!
