Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey Arrested

Disaster has struck the Baltimore Ravens yet again, this time in the form of a 3rd degree robbery committed by rookie CB Marlon Humphrey. The charge comes with a $2,500 bond and a possible 7 years of jail time. Humphrey was booked by the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and not many details of the crime have surfaced just yet.

With starting CB Jimmy Smith being suspended for PEDs at the start of next season, Humphrey was looked at to take the next step as the next premier corner for the Baltimore Ravens after a incredibly promising start to his career. Now that career will be put on hold as court dates and suspensions are clearly on the horizon.

UPDATE: statement: “Marlon told us that it was a misunderstanding regarding a $15 telephone charger, which he thought was his. Our understanding is that he has been interviewed by University of Alabama Police and is cooperating. We are monitoring the situation.”

More information will be released as it becomes available to us.
