Preview: Wizards Take on Rockets in Key Game

The Washington Wizards will take on the Houston Rockets today on December 19th, 2018, at the Toyota Center. Washington is coming off a 118-110 loss to the Atlanta Hawks, while Houston is coming off a 102-97 win over the Utah Jazz, just on December 17th, 2018. Currently, the Wizards stand at 12-19; however, the Rockets have a significantly better win-loss record at 15-14.

Moreover, the projected starters for the Wizards are as follows; guard, John Wall, guard, Bradley Beal, forward, Jeff Green, forward, Trevor Ariza, and center, Thomas Bryant, according to the previous game against the Hawks. As for Houston, the projected starters are as follows, guard, Chris Paul, guard, James Harden, forward, forward, Eric Gordon, forward, P.J. Tucker, and center, Clint Capela. Statistically, the Wizards are 10th in scoring in the league, while the Rockets are 21st in scoring, despite having a better win-loss record, and coming off a Western Confernece Finals appearance just last season with a similar roster.

The Wizards and Rockets can be watched through NBC Sports Washington, and listened to on 1500 AM through the radio. Lastly, my personal score prediction for this game is the Rockets defeating the Wizards by a score of 121-109.
