Orioles chances running out
The Baltimore Orioles are running out of chances this season with a little over a week left they are three games back of the wild card. They have all division games so a comeback is possible but it looks hard.
The Orioles success may have been their downfall, players have played every day and gotten worn out. Chris Davis, JJ Hardy, Manny Machado, and Nick Markakis refuse to take a game off. That said it is hard for manager Buck Showalter to take them out of the lineup.
The pitching and hitting has never really been streaking together. The Orioles have good hitting and pitching they just are not in sync. The 18 inning game against the Tampa Bay Rays might have done the Orioles in, they did not turnaround well.
It is not over yet but the clock is ticking.
