Johns Hopkins Men’s Lacrosse 2024 Schedule Released

On September 26th, the Johns Hopkins men’s lacrosse team was the first division one men’s lacrosse team to release their schedule for the 2024 season. This season they will have 13 games including seven home games and one neutral site game.

The Blue Jays will host four of the six division one teams in Maryland for the 2024 season. They host Towson on February 6th, Loyola on February 17th, Navy on March 16th, and Maryland to wrap up the regular season on April 20th.

The Blue Jays’ season gets rolling on February 3rd with a home game against Denver where they will host the Pioneers’ first game without legendary coach Bill Tierney at the helm. Their two other games in February are against the Georgetown Hoyas on February 10th, who are coming off a Big East title and are the favorites once again to win it in 2024, as well as ACC powerhouse North Carolina on February 24th with both of those games being on the road.

In March, the Blue Jays will travel to another ACC powerhouse in Virginia on the 2nd. The week after the Blue Jays and the Syracuse Orange will play in a neutral site game in Charlotte, NC on the 9th. Hopkins will then play Navy and will finish off the month of March with a game on the 22nd-24th where they will travel to Rutgers, and then they will host the reigning Big Ten Champs Michigan on the 30th.

To finish off the regular season, the Blue Jays host Penn State on April 6th, then will travel to Ohio State on April 12th-14th, before they finish the regular season hosting Maryland for the annual Crab Trophy game.

This year’s schedule for the Blue Jays has eight teams that finished in the final top 20 media poll according to Inside Lacrosse. A schedule this tough should help get Hopkins ready and primed to make a strong push towards a potential memorial day weekend appearance.
