Harvey promoted to Triple-A Norfolk, will pitch out of bullpen

Long-time Orioles prospect RHP Hunter Harvey has been promoted to Triple-A Norfolk for the first time in his professional career.

It has been announced that Harvey will pitch out of the bullpen, where he has been pitching more effectively and efficiently of late.

So far this season, Harvey has gone 2-5 with a 5.19 ERA in 14 games played for the Double-A Bowie Baysox. Harvey started 11 of those 14 games, but has been dominant coming out of the bullpen.

The 24-year-old has been with the organization since the club selected him in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft out of Bandys High School.
