Yes, Craig Adams did board Ovechkin and did not get a penalty for it. In fact Mike Knuble got an extra penalty for instigating. The announcers even agreed that the officials missed the call. To sum it up the officials missed a five minute major and gave Knuble a bonus penalty, a total of seven minutes in penalty time swing. That was not even the worst call in the game, later in the game Jeff Schultz got a slashing penalty for being 10-feet away from a Penguins player when he broke his stick on the ice.
