The Captain’s College Football Picks – Week 1
Week Zero is over and now it’s time for week 1. The Captain has dropped anchor and he’s ready to watch some college football!!!
Opening Statement
Happy College Football Season everyone and soon to be National Football League season. It’s time to hike that football and find out who will win this weekend’s games. The Captain reminds all of our readers who are sports bettors, to please gamble responsibly. My limit has always been $100 or $200 for a weekend and nothing more. Once the cash is out? I’m out. Do make sure you gamble responsibly.
Anyway, my picks will be based off of the Top 25 match-ups for this week and also our Maryland Terrapins. We got some great games for you to watch!
Maryland Terrapins
Terrapins come in looking a lot stronger this year with a possible Heisman, Maxwell Award, and high draft pick watch quarterback in Taulia Tagovailoa again at center, who graduated over the summer, but is in his fifth and final year of eligibility. Speedsters Roman Hemby and Jeshaun Jones are back. The defense has been overhauled this season with the addition of top prospects and transfers like speedy corner Ja’Quan Sheppard, former Mountaineer Kaden Prather, and 6′ 5″ 320lb Corey Bullock coming in from North Carolina central.
