After loss in the Outdoor classic, Bears have tough task against Penguins

Lets just start off with the fact that the Bears are winless in five straight games, but they have collected points in three of the five losses…so there is some bright spots to the losses. However coming up in February is a ton of road contests including  about a 2 weeks stretch where the Bears are not at home. Then throw in that Chris Bourque will be away for a few weeks as he goes to represent the United States in the Olympics.

Tonight the task is daunting as they take on another rival from up I-81 as they face off with the Wilke-Barre Scranton Penguins at 7pm back indoors at the Giant Center in Hershey. The Pens are 4-0-1-1 against the Bears this season, and seven of their last thirteen trips to Giant Center have required overtime.

Tonight the players to watch out for is Pens forward Daniel Sprong and goaltender Anthony Peters. Sprong was reassigned to Wilkes-Barre Scranton on Monday from Pittsburgh. Sprong ranks first on the team in goals with eighteen. Wilkes-Barre Scranton has outscored its opponents 27-12 since the calendar turned to 2018. Since signing with the Penguin, goalie Anthony Peters has a 1.50 goals against average and .944 save percentage in that time.
