The Norfolk Tides postponed their July 7, 2026, men’s baseball game against the Syracuse Mets because of inclement weather and scheduled the matchup as part of a single-admission doubleheader Wednesday, July 8, at Harbor Park.
The first game is scheduled to begin at 4:35 p.m., with gates opening at 4 p.m. Both games will be seven-inning contests.

The July 7 postponement also affects the scheduled fireworks show. The fireworks will be rescheduled for a later date.
Fans may exchange individual tickets for the July 7 game at the Harbor Park box office for tickets of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2026 regular-season home game. Fans who exchange their tickets must select new seats because the same seats cannot be guaranteed.
Fans who paid for parking with the City of Norfolk will receive a refund to the credit card used to purchase parking. Individual-game tickets are available online, and fans can purchase 2026 ticket plans, including season tickets, by calling 757-622-2222.
Harbor Park Ticket Information
Single-game tickets start at $17. The Norfolk Tides also offer $15 tickets in reserved sections in advance to students through high school, active military members with identification and senior citizens age 60 and older.
Children younger than 2 are admitted free. Fans exchanging July 7 tickets must visit the Harbor Park box office to obtain tickets for a new game.
