The Washington Capitals have revealed their Stanley Cup Championship rings just two days before opening the season at home against the Boston Bruins. The Capitals acquired the Stanley Cup by defeating the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final in 5 games. Washington looks to continue their success as they will defend the Stanley Cup this season.
In detail, the Capitals defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets in 6 games, the Pittsburgh Penguins in 6 games, the Tampa Bay Lightning in 7 games, and finally, defeated the Golden Knights in 5 games, which was stated earlier. Adding on, Left Winger, Alex Ovechkin, was given the Conn Smythe trophy, which is the Stanley Cup Final’s MVP. Moreover, the Capitals championship ring features the infamous logo with gold in the ring. The ring also says “Stanley Cup Champions” on it, which was well deserved.
