The Washington Redskins have made another change to their QB situation. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport the Redskins have waived QB Stephen Morris.
After the #Redskins traded for QB Kevin Hogan on Friday, they’ve waived QB Stephen Morris today, I’m told.

Morris signed a reserve/futures contract with Washington after the 2017/18 season on January 2nd. Morris has spent time with the Jaguars, Eagles, and Colts but he’s yet to appear in a single regular-season game.
Morris was slated to be the Redskins 3rd-string QB going into the 2018 season until Washington agreed to trade their 2018 sixth-round pick to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for QB Kevin Hogan and Cleveland’s sixth-round pick.
The Redskins only have room for three quarterbacks on their 53-man roster, so it made no sense to keep Morris around. Morris will now have a chance to join another team before offseason workouts begin.
