Wizards lose 125-118 to Nets

The Wizards lost their fourth game in a row to the Brooklyn Nets 125-118 in a high scoring affair on Friday night. Bradley Beal led all scorers with 31 points but the Wizards never got close enough to give the Nets a scare.

After taking a 5 point first quarter lead, the Nets came out of the gates strong in the second quarter and took a ten point lead into halftime and they were able to hold it the rest of the way.

Spencer Dinwiddie scored 27 off the bench to lead the Nets in scoring in his first game after signing a new contract extension. John Wall dropped another double double for the Wizards with 17 points and 13 assists.

The Wizards fall to 11-18 with the loss and have been playing poor basketball of late. If they do not start winning games soon there could very well be some more trades on the way.

In their next game they take on Lebron James and the Lakers in the Nations Capital on Sunday.
