Wizards drop to Heat 115-109
The Washington Wizards to the Miami Heat Friday night 115-109 , bringing them down to 15-24 and Heat up to 19-18.
The Wizards coming off two win streak were able to keep a tight leash on the Heat especially towards the end of the first half, after battling for the lead they were 61-58 entering halftime. The third and fourth quarters stayed closer than Kevin Hart and The Rock as it seemed the Wizards just wouldn’t let the Heat go until late in the fourth when the Wizards fell behind and couldn’t catch up in time.
Bradley Beal (SG) led the game in points scoring 33 points with 10/25 field goals followed by Hassan Whiteside (C) of the Heat who scored 21 points with 9/13 field goals. Whiteside led in rebounds pulling in 18 rebounds for the Heat while Beal followed pulling in 9 rebounds for the Wizards. Beal led the Wizards for assist with seven assist total, Whiteside didn’t lead this category but instead Justise Winslow (SF) of the Heat led with 10 assist total.
The Wizards will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder (25-13) Sunday night at 7PM.
