Washington Commanders Week 7 All-22 Film Breakdown
This week I breakdown the two big plays from McLaurin. I also look at the punt unit for the Commanders, the turnover they forced and the punt they downed at the one. Then I breakdown Heinicke’s interception and his escapability. Finally I breakdown a few plays from the defense.
Aaron Jones Touchdowns
His first touchdown was a great play design from the Packers and effort from Jones.
His second Touchdown was a great pump fake from Rodgers to draw the safety down.
Heinicke’s Pick six
It was a bad decision by Heinicke to throw this ball.
Heinicke’s two touchdown
His first touchdown to Gibson was a great throw over the Safety and a great job by Gibson to get his feet down.
This was a great throw by Heinicke and a good job by Terry to hold onto it.
Special Teams playing great
The Punt unit forced another turnover
Punt Team downs a ball on the one.
Other good plays from the game
Jamin Davis making a tackle for a loss.
This is why I want Heinicke over Wentz.
Terry basically ends the game!
Wrap up
The Commanders defense played well on Sunday. They didn’t give up any huge plays and made the Packers earn both touchdowns. For the offense Heinicke looked bad for the first 20 minutes, but after his interception he played well. Hopefully his second half performance will continue this week. The Commanders will take on the Colts in Indianapolis on Sunday. The Colts will be starting Sam Ehlinger for the first time this week. Hopefully the defensive line will get after him and the Commanders make the win streak three in a row.
