Washington Capitals extend Center Nic Dowd three more years

Nic Dowd, has been signed to a three year contract extension with a salary of $750,000. Nic had an amazing regular season while setting a career high with eight goals this season and tied his single season high with 22 points (8g, 14a). Nic has a played in 195 career NHL games and recorded 48 points during his career (17 g, 31a).

Nic Dowd was a Los Angeles Kings draft selection in the seventh round, 198th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Capitals signed Nic as a free agent to a one-year contract back on July 1, 2018.
