UMBC standout Jairus Lyles signs with the Utah Jazz
UMBC star Jairus Lyles has signed a two-way deal with the Utah Jazz at the conclusion of NBA Summer League. Lyles played four games in which he averaged 7.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
Lyles will be in Jazz training camp to compete for a roster spot. If Lyles does not make the NBA team, he will be sent to the G-League team in Salt Lake City. The Jazz are stacked at the guard position having just drafted Grayson Allen and returning super star guard Donovan Mitchell.
