Redskins sign former Ravens quarterback Josh Woodrum

The Washington Redskins have signed Former Ravens quarterback Josh Woodrum,ESPN’s Field Yates has reported. Woodrum has been a journeymen quarterback throughout his career.

The Redskins will make his seventh team. Besides the Ravens, he’s played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Professional Football team and Chicago Bears. Woodrum most recently played for the Salt Lake Stallions in the now-defunct Alliance of American Football.

Despite playing for multiple teams, Woodrum has not thrown a pass in the NFL. This gives the Redskins three quarterbacks now to compete for the starting job with Colt McCoy and Case Keenum. I still think the Redskins will draft one in the upcoming draft. Woodrum’s deal is for one year.
