Ravens sign linebacker Shane Ray
The Baltimore Ravens have signed linebacker Shane Ray to a one-year deal, according to Adam Schefter.
Ray was a first round selection by the Denver Broncos with the 23rd overall pick out of Missouri.
Ray’s best season came in 2018, when he recorded eight sacks. In 2017 and 2018, he struggled with injuries and only recorded two sacks in that time frame.
Ray is a low risk, high reward player, who could end up being a solid pass rusher for the Ravens.
Here is Adam Schefter’s tweet on the signing.
It’s a one-year deal for Shane Ray in Baltimore.
Now, in less than 24 hours, Ravens have added two pass rushers: Ray and Pernell McPhee. https://t.co/Nn0PiOsUq0
