Ravens report card: The offense 9/28/2014

The Ravens did not do anything to flashy they just came out and played hard. The offense was nearly perfect on the day.

Quarterback: Joe Flacco had himself a career day, he threw for over 200 yards in the first half alone. Flacco looked like he was on cruise control the entire game. Flacco’s final numbers were 22 for 31 with 327 passing yards and three touchdowns. Flacco had a final qb rating of 137.4, which is outstanding. Grade A+

Running backs: Justin Forsett has taken over as the Ravens top running back. Forsett broke tackles and was great in the passing game, he had 66 yards and a touchdown. Forsett also had three receptions for 31 yards. Lorenzo Taliaferro was also good as the backup running back and had a one-yard touchdown run. Grade A

Receivers: Steve Smith Sr. had a field day playing his former team with seven receptions for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Smith Sr. was not used much in the second half. Torrey Smith also finally got involved with a touchdown reception and two catches. Owen Daniels and Marlon Brown were also very solid. Grade A

Offensive line: The offensive line kept Joe Flacco clean all game and he did not get sacked. Undrafted rookie free agent James Hurst was outstanding at left tackle. Perfect day for the offensive line. Grade A

Overall: The Ravens offense looked like they were on cruise control for the entire game. The Ravens offense played great in all aspects of the game. The offensive line has been much improved. Grade A
