Ovechkin scores twice, win game in OT for the Caps

Alex Ovechkin would strike 1:57 into overtime to lift the Washington Capitals to a 5-4 win against the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday. Braden Holtby would make 34 saves for the Capitals, who have won three in a row.

Ovechkin would not only win the game but would tie the game late for the Capitals.

Chiasson, Devante Smith-Pelly, Orlov, Ovechkin (2) would be the goal scorers for the Caps as Rask (2), Lindholm, and Teravainen were the scorers for the Hurricanes.

The Capitals next game is at home on Sunday where they will host the St. Louis Blues.
