Happy Mothers Day!!!! The Baltimore Orioles look to sweep the Houston Astros after a thrilling five to four victory last night. The Orioles are going to activate Chris Davis today and he is back starting at first base. Davis only played one rehab game at double-A Bowie. I will have the corresponding move later.

Matt Wieters could go to the DL but it looks like the Orioles are fine with him DHing.

Here is the lineup from a tweet from Brittany Ghiroli.

UPDATE: The Orioles have placed catcher Matt Wieters on the disabled list to make room for Davis. Here is the Orioles press release.

The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated INF CHRIS DAVIS from the 15-day disabled list and placed CA MATT WIETERS on the 15-day DL with a right elbow strain.

Davis was placed on the DL, retroactive to April 26, with a left oblique strain. He batted .250 (19-76) with two home runs and 13 RBI in 22 games for the Orioles. Davis went 1-for-4 with a run scored in a rehab game for Double-A Bowie last night.
