Orioles activate and DFA Reimold
The Baltimore Orioles have activated Nolan Reimold from the 60-day disabled list and designated him for assignment. Reimold needs to clear waivers in order for him to stay in the Orioles organization which I see him doing. Reimold will likely go to triple-A Norfolk and continue rehabbing. Reimold hit .315 and two home runs during his rehab at double-A Bowie.
The Orioles have a lot of players similar to Reimold and are relatively healthy. It is best for Reimold if he plays everyday in the minors until the Orioles need him. Again, Reimold needs to clear waivers first.
