Nationals lineup and preview: 6/29/19

After winning their fourth straight game last night, the Washington Nationals will take on the Detroit Tigers in game two of a three-game series that will continue today at Comerica Park.

Yesterday, Washington ousted Detroit off a well-pitched performance by Aníbal Sanchez, who threw six innings, while giving up just one hit and throwing eight strikeouts in the process.

Now, the Nationals hold a 41-40 record, while the Tigers stand at 26-51. The pitching matchup for today’s game is scheduled to be RHP Austin Voth (0-0, 3.00 ERA) facing off against LHP Gregory Soto (0-2, 8.66 ERA).
