Washington Nationals lineup: 9-26-2018

Here’s the Washington Nationals lineup for this afternoon’s game against the Miami Marlins. This is the final home game of the 2018 season.

Victor Robles – CF
Trea Turner – SS
Bryce Harper – RF
Anthony Rendon – 3B
Juan Soto – LF
Ryan Zimmerman – 1B
Adrian Sanchez – 2B
Spencer Kieboom – C
Kyle McGowin – P

Tanner Roark though scheduled to pitch for the Nationals will miss this afternoon’s start to be home with his newborn son. In his place, Kyle McGowin will take the mound. This will be McGowin’s first major league start.

Wei-Yin Chen (6-11, 4.66 ERA) will make the start for the Marlins. Last time out, Chen pitched impressively, allowing only three hits in seven innings pitched against the Cincinnati Reds.

This afternoon is potentially Bryce Harper’s last home game with the Nationals. (In a personal plea from this #LineupGirl to Nats ownership: Do not let this happen. Please.)
