Mystics Continue Skid, Lose to Connecticut Sun

The Mystics have cooled off from their 4-0 start, and after losing two straight now sit at 5-3. Yesterday, they lost 88-64 to the 5-0 Connecticut Sun.

The Sun’s biggest contributor was Jasmine Thomas, with 25 points. The Mystics only had three players in double digits for scoring: Ariel Atkins (14), Tianna Hawkins (10), and Monique Currie (10). The Mystics’ leading rebounder was Krystal Thomas with six rebounds in only 14 minutes. The Mystics’ leading passers were Kristi Toliver and Natasha Cloud (three each).

The Mystics look to get back on track with a win vs the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday at home.
