My first day in the press box is also a great day for fans

Baltimore Ravens practice at M&T Bank Stadium

The Baltimore Ravens brought training camp to M&T Bank Stadium to give the fans an opportunity to see the team and the stadium for free. I thought this was great, not all fans can afford tickets to the games and never get to go to the stadium, it gave the fans a unique chance to see their favorite team. Even my parents and sister come with me to enjoy the day.

It was also my first experience in a press box, it was awesome, the press area had a cafeteria and the seats were the best seats in the stadium.

Practice wise the Ravens did more team practices than their usual practice. The safeties all had great days, Safety Ken Hamlin had two interceptions, he was the standout of the day.

The players had a longer practice than their usually day but they were happy that they did not have to have two practices. It was like a practice and a half rather than two full practices.

I also thought this was a great time for the rookies to get to practice on the stadium turf before Thursdays preseason game, maybe some will play better. Head Coach John Harbaugh seemed to agree with me when I asked him in his press conference.

Many players and coaches stayed long after the practice ended to sign autographs. Head coach John Harbaugh stayed out signing autographs for at least 20 minutes if not longer.
