Evgeny Kuznetsov Suspended 3 games by NHL for inappropriate conduct

What news to wake up to on a Saturday morning, Washington Capitals RW Evgeny Kuznetsov suspended 3 games by the NHL, this comes after Kuzy tested positive for cocaine a few weeks back.

Kuzy received a 4-year ban from the IIHF for the failed drug test and it seems the NHL has reacted with there own punishment.
Here is the statement from the NHL / NHLPR

The 3 game suspension, means Kuzy will miss the regular-season opener in STL on October 2, the Home opener vs the Islanders and that Sunday vs Carolina.

Kuznetsov will be eligible to come back for the October 8th game Vs Dallas

This may leave RW gap going into the opening night as the Caps will have to call up from Hershey since there is no cap room.
Kuzy was seen in a Russian twitter video with lines of cocaine but wasn’t seen doing said drugs, until a failed drug test might have proofed different. Kuzy has deleted all social media footage and has been focusing on the season and his 2nd son, Fedor.
