Dana White Hints Connor McGregor Vs Khabib Nurmagomedov Fight Will Happen
UFC Calgary is going down tomorrow night and some positive news came from UFC President Dana White during the weigh-in show. During an interview with lightweight fighter Dustin Poirier Dana White was asked if Dustin beats Eddie Alvarez what’s next for Poirier.
Dana mentioned other fighters, but said no disrespect to Poirier, but Conor McGregor will fight Khabib Nurmagomedov sometime this year. McGregor is now not in legal trouble after his court hearing in New York City on Thursday and is now on pace to become the UFC lightweight champion again.
Bad blood has been boiling between McGregor and Nurmagomedov since the incident at the Barclays Center when McGregor threw a hand truck at a bus with Nurmagomedov in it. Will McGregor take back his belt at UFC in Moscow when the UFC goes their on September 15, or will the fight happen in October who knows. All we know is Dana White basically said the fight is going to happen and UFC fans can’t wait!
