Conor McGregor Signs Contract For Six More UFC Fights

Conor McGregor cashes in on a contract guaranteeing six more fights in the UFC. No words have been released yet on the finance side of it, but UFC President Dana White says McGregor could make more money in the sport than anyone else.

The six fights includes upcoming fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 on October 6. Today the two fighters had a press conference ahead of the fight.

McGregor’s new contract also includes his whiskey Proper 12 to be an official sponsor of the UFC, and will show the whiskeys logo on the matts for every UFC event Conor is fighting in. McGregor announced the sponsorship at the press conference saying, “You bet your bollocks it is a sponsor, and I’ll stomp Khabibs head onto the logo while he bleeds.”

Dana White said, “Its not hard to deal with Conor because we know what he’s worth.” White also included that UFC 229 could break records for UFC pay-per-views projecting at 2.5 million buys; previous record was 1.6 buys for McGregor’s rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202.
