Preview Caps vs Kings: Can the Caps bounce back after the loss to Pitt?

The Washington Capitals are in the middle of a four-game homestand. It started with Pittsburgh on Sunday which was a 4-3 loss. Tonight (2/4/20) is game 2=two of the homestand against the Los Angles Kings.

On December 4th, the Caps beat the Kings 3-1. One big thing that doomed the Caps against Pitt, was the amount of times we went to the sin bin (penalty box). If the Caps can stay out of the sin bin, and execute on both ends of the ice, pressuring the Kings goalie, and play good effective defense, it should be a winnable game.

Against Pitt, the Caps missed the net, when it was wide open a couple times. They have to execute better on offense, and finish plays. The Kings are in last place in the Pacific division, and are on pace for a 67 point season. This would be the worst finish for them since 96-97.

The game can be viewed on NBC sports Washington, or you can listen on the radio at 106.7 fm.
