Capitals look for fourth straight win in a Sunday matinee at The Garden

Since the NHL Trade Deadline, the Washington Capitals have flipped a switch. They have brought in much needed blue line depth in Nick Jensen and a speedy forward in Carl Hagelin. Both players have made an impact in the lineup and they look to continue that trend today against the blue shirts.
The Rangers and Capitals are seemingly going in different directions as we kick off the month of March. Alex Ovechkin and the forward group have started to put things together; playing a more complete game and the blue line looks to be finding their stride. The Rangers have traded away two key forwards in Mats Zuccarello and Kevin Hayes in moves that lean towards a potential rebuild.
Much has been made of Brian MacLellans ability to make key moves at the right times and it looks like these two deals will be a huge additions to the lineup.
