2018-19 Washington Capitals schedule released
The Washington Capitals schedule of defense has been released. After winning the Stanley Cup just about two weeks ago, the Capitals now know their opponents and when they will be playing next season. The Washington Capitals will begin the season at home, when they begin with a banner raise against the Boston Bruins. The schedule wont get any easier as the very next night the Caps will head to Pittsburgh for their first battle of the 2018-19 season with the rival Penguins.

The Caps will host the Vegas Golden Knights early on in the season with a rematch of the Stanley Cup Final at Capital One Arena in the second home game of the season on October 10th. This game is an NBCSN Rivalry Night contest.
Washington’s first extended road trip is its annual late-October trip that will send the Caps through western Canada from October 22nd-27th.
