Evgeny Kuznetsov is back from players assistance and is working in Hershey with the Bears now
Evgeny Kuznetsov who just returned from a stint in the NHL players assistance and substance abuse program. Upon returning, he and his agent have asked the Capitals to give him a fresh start and they have granted his request in a way. He was subsequently placed on waivers so another team was free to claim him and have him join their team. While, no team claimed him, he is reporting to the AHL Capitals affiliate, the Hershey Bears. This is giving him an opportunity to practice and play away from the stress of a playoff competing team, and also the stress of a high profile city where the spotlight is on him because of his status as a high profile player. Today, a few pictures surfaced online from his first day in Hershey, and he looked like he was having fun, smiling, and joking around with teammates.
