Caps vs Canadians: Ovi’s quest for 700 continues

Today, February 20th, the Capitals, play the Canadians, and all eyes, continue to be on Alex Ovechkin. There are also other roster moves, to keep an eye on.

Brenden Dillon, who was acquired from San Jose, will skate with John Carlson, on the first line of defense. Hopefully, Dillon, will help on the defensive end, which has been terrible. Evgeny Kuznetsov, also makes his return after missing the last three games with an upper body injury.

Alex Ovechkin, is still on the hunt to get goal 700 of his career. Carey Price who is the goaltender for the Canadians, has given up 17 goals in his last 5 games. Ovi, is on a scoring drought, having not scored in his last 5 games.

The penalty kill has been really good of recent, but the power play is still a work in progress. The power play, is still very sloppy, and mediocre. Hopefully this is improved upon tonight.

Lastly, Braden Holtby, has been playing a lot better in goal, and looks to be out of his slump that he was in. I would expect that Holtby starts tonight.

The game can be viewed on NBCSports, NBCSportsWashington, or you can listen on 106.7 fm
