Capitals vs Kraken, Capitals come back to Capital One Arena
The Washington Capitals are welcoming the Seattle Kraken to Capital One Areana a few days after playing them on the west coast. The Caps come into this matchup having won the last two games they’ve played.
Alex Ovechkin scored a couple empty net goals the other night, bringing him to a career total of 795 goals. He is also a few goals away from having as many empty net goals as Wayne Gretzky.
On the other side of things, Charlie Lindgren has looked really good in goal since taking over for an injured Darcy Kuemper. On the other side of the ice, the Kraken have loaned their number 4 overall pick from last year’s draft to team Canada. The Kraken won the last meeting at a score of 3-2. This is the final meeting of these two teams for this season.
