Preview-Washington is playing the first of a back-to-back, and are coming off of a drubbing to the Dallas Mavericks, in which, once again, the defense did not show up, by allowing 70 points in the first half, and remains one of the glaring issues for this team, as they are currently dead last in the league, allowing 120.5 points per game. Five of the eight Wizards losses have been by double digits. In 15 games against his former team, Dwight Howard has 11 career double-doubles. Currently, the Magic have the worst shooting percentage in the league (42.9%), and are dead last in the league in offense (101.3 ppg). Orlando is coming off a loss to the Detroit Pistons, in which they had a double digit lead in the third quarter. Nikola Vucevic leads Orlando averaging nearly 18 points and 10 rebounds a game. Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon, also will provide added scoring punch, and are currently averaging 17 and 16 points per game, respectively. Washington won three of the four games last year. After the game, Washington will head to Miami for a Saturday night tilt against the heat.
