High School Honors

Elan Nash graduated in 2016 from Unionville High School in Kennett Square, PA. Named All-League and All-Area three times, Nash captained the football team in both his junior and senior years. Named the All-Chesmont American Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, he also earned Second-Team All-State (PA) and First-Team All-Southeastern PA honors his senior year. A member of the National Honor Society, Nash took recruiting trips to several Ivy League schools before deciding to join Navy.

Freshman Year (2016)

Nash saw no varsity action his freshman year at Navy.

Sophomore Year (2017)

Playing at defensive back, Nash appeared in the last ten games of the Midshipmen’s season. He recorded 11 tackles during that stretch, adding a fumble recovery against Virginia in the Military Bowl.

Junior Year (2018 – through four games)

Converting to outside linebacker (striker) this year, Nash has started all four of Navy’s games his junior season. As of 9-29-18, Nash’s stats already include nine tackles (2 solo, 7 ast.) and one interception.

The move to the offensive line has certainly agreed with Elan Nash, just as his performance at striker has agreed with Midshipman fans.
