Nationals 2019 Schedule

What does 2019 have in store for the Washington Nationals? While we do not know who is coming back to DC, who will be New in town, or who will be leaving Washington, we now know what the Nationals schedule will look like.

The Nationals will open the season with a three game home series against the New York Mets from March 28-31 with March 29 serving as an off day.

The Nationals kick off the April portion of the schedule with a two game home series against the Philadelphia Phillies on April 1-2. Washington will then head out on their first roadtrip of the season, a six game trip to New York and Philadelphia before coming home for a six game homestand against the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants. The Nationals then head back out for another six game roadtrip to Miami and Colorado before coming home for a seven game homestand against the San Diego Padres and St Louis Cardinals which will take them into May.

After the Cardinals leave town on May 2, the Nationals embark on a ten game roadtrip to Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and Los Angeles. Washington will then come home for a six game homestand against the New York Mets and Chicago Cubs before heading back out for a four game series to New York and return home for a four game Memorial Day weekend series against the Miami Marlins. Nationals will then head to Atlanta for a brief two game series and conclude the month of May in Cincinnati.

The Nationals will open the month of June concluding a three game series in Cincinnati before coming home for their first interleague action of the season-a two game series against the Chicago White Sox. After this, the Nationals head right back out for a six game roadtrip to San Diego(4) and Chicago(White Sox, 2 game series). Washington then returns home for an eleven game homestand against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Philadelphia Phillies, and Atlanta Braves. The Nationals will conclude the month with a six game roadtrip to Miami and Detroit.

The Nationals will open up the month of July with a six game homestand against the Miami Marlins and Kansas City Royals before heading to the All Star Break in Cleveland. Washington will begin the second half of their season with a nine game roadtrip to Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Atlanta. The Nationals will conclude the month with a ten game homestand against the Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Atlanta Braves.

The month of August will begin with a nine game roadtrip to Arizona, San Francisco, and New York, followed by a six game homestand against the Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers. The Nationals then head out for a seven game roadtrip to Pittsburgh and Chicago(Cubs) before concluding the month with an eight game homestand against the Baltimore Orioles, Miami Marlins, and New York Mets which will take us into September.

After the Mets leave town, the Nationals head out for seven to Atlanta and Minnesota before returning for a three game series against the Atlanta Braves and heading right back out for six more to St Louis and Miami. The Nationals will then conclude the regular season with a seven game homestand against the Philadelphia Phillies and Cleveland Indians.
