Maryland To Close Out Non-Conference Season Tonight

Maryland basketball is set to host the UMBC Retrievers tonight at home. The Terps will be looking for any kind of momentum heading into conference season, since they received the devastating news that Justin Jackson is lost for the rest of the season yesterday. Of course Turgeon must not let his team look past the retrievers, since they are a solid team in their own right, being picked near the top of their conference which includes Vermont and UNH. they’ve gone 7-2 in their last 9 games, winning 2 of 3 road contests in that time.

Maryland may have their hands full, but they should come out ahead since they have markedly better talent. The game tips at 8pm EST on Fox Sports 1.
