Bear win on the road, Beat Springfield 4-2

The Bears took on Springfield in an away game matchup Friday night and came out on top with a 4-2 victory. Springfield struck first at 8:17 in the first period with Maxim Mamin getting his fifth goal of the season. It wouldn’t be long after that, Travis Boyd would respond with the Bears first goal at 12:06, with the help of Aaron Ness he would get his eleventh assist of the season, and Chris Bourque would also find himself with his first point of the night. Just before first intermission, Springfield would answer back at 16:32 and Jayce Hawryluk would make it 2-1 going into period two.

It didn’t take long for Wayne Simpson to tie up the game only 4:42 into the second period. This would be his seventh goal of the season assisted by Aaron Ness and Chris Bourque. Mathias Bau would score the game winning goal at 16:15 into the second period and Chris Bourque and Aaron Ness would get yet another point for the assists on the goal. The third period would only see one goal with Riley Barber scoring a power play goal at 18:51, bringing the final score to 4-2, as Hershey gets another win for the season.

Hershey will host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at home Saturday night at 7 P.M while hosting the Boys Scouts of America for Scout Night!
