The Navy women’s soccer team travels to Nickerson Field in Boston on Friday night to face Boston University.

The Mids enter the night holding down first place in the Patriot League, having won five straight. The Terriers claim second place, having won their last three matches.

Friday night’s game will be the ninth meeting between the schools since 2013 when Boston joined the league. The Terriers lead the series with a 6-2 record.

Last Saturday, Navy improved to 4-0 in Patriot League action, beating Lehigh 2-0. Karli Sottung, the Mids’ senior captain, scored both goals. Sydney Fortston had nine saves for Navy, the junior’s season-high.
