Wizards snap 5 game losing streak

The Washington Wizards get a much needed victory as they beat the Phoenix Suns 124-121, breaking a 5-game losing streak and saving themselves from elimination for at least one more night.

Bradley Beal and Jabari Parker both finished with 28 points. Thomas Bryant hit a 3 to give Washington a 121-118 lead before Jamal Crawford answered with a 3. Then, Bradley Beal found Bryant for an inside bucket to put Washington back up by two with 2.8 seconds left and drew a foul from Richaun Holmes, who fouled out on the play. Bryant hit the ensuing free throw to give the Wizards (31-45) the final margin of victory.

On the other side of the ball, Devin Booker continues to dazzle as one of the NBA’s most talented scorers with another 50 point performance. DeAndre Ayton had a double-double, going for 14 points and 10 rebounds on 13 shots, while Jamal Crawford posted a team-high seven assists to go with 12 points off the bench.

The Wizards travel to Utah to take on the Jazz Thursday Night at 9:00pm E.S.T.
