Washington preview-The Wizards ended a three game losing streak, thanks to a 33-11 run in the second quarter, and seven Wizards scored in double figures in the victory over San Antonio, highlighted by four Wizards off the bench, who scored 61 points in the game. Washington shot nearly 55 percent from the field, and had 33 assists in the game. Washington remains the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference, but with a win in Detroit they would clinch a postseason berth. This is the 4th and final meeting against the Pistons, and so far the Wizards have won all three games against Detroit, including the last matchup , in which Washington were 16-35 from beyond the arc.

Detroit preview-The Pistons, who have won two straight games, are running out of games, as they remain five games behind the Milwaukee Bucks for the last playoff spot. Drummond is averaging nearly 17 rebounds in the three games against the Wizards this season. In the last 12 games he has played, Blake Griffin is averaging 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists per game.
