Wizards Acquire Portis and Parker in trade

The Wizards announced Wednesday that they have traded Otto Porter Jr. with the Chicago Bulls for forwards Jabari Parker and Bobby Portis along with an 2023 second round draft pick.

Porter Jr. averaged 12.6 points, two assist and 5.6 rebounds so far this season. Portis averaged 14.1 points with 7.3 rebounds and only 1.3 assist while his teammate Parker who joined the Bulls this season averaged 14.3 points and 6.2 rebounds with 2.2 assist.


Also Wednesday, the Wizards traded forward Markieff MorrisĀ to the New Orleans Pelicans for forward Wesley Johnson. with these two trades the Wizards have saved 18.3 million on luxury tax.

The Wizards are 22-33 after their lost against the Bucks Wednesday night and will play the Cavaliers Friday at 7PM.
